This book is 101 years old but is in just wonderful condition! Has no marks & the pages are straight with only a very light yellowing. Cover is also in great condition with only a tiny bump to the very tips of the bottom corners.
This work is a collection of letters by a pilot in the Royal Flying Corps. It gives a great insight into the experiences of a pilot during the First World War and is a fascinating work for anyone with an interest in military aviation. He describes his experience "Compared with some Squadrons, our work is pleasant." Though the author's experiences may have been "pleasant," they were not to be taken as typical of those of all pilots at the front states the introduction. A nice relic of WWI.
